Why quoted rather than a list price?
In custom software the price is set by the state of the systems you connect to, not by screen count. At the end of discovery we write the scope down and fix a price against it.
What if our current system has no API?
Database-level reads, file-based exchange or screen automation are all options. We decide together in discovery which one is sustainable.
Do we get the source code?
Yes. 100% code ownership and IP transfer are standard on every project; the repository and infrastructure live in your accounts.
